Use this guide to connect your HubSpot account to Samskit, configure CRM sync, and start pushing meeting and deal insights into HubSpot.What the integration does
After connecting HubSpot, Samskit can:- Read HubSpot deals, associated contacts, and associated companies.
- Import pipeline stages so you can map them to Samskit stages.
- Push mapped deal fields from Samskit back to HubSpot deals.
- Log meeting summaries to HubSpot as meetings, calls, notes, or tasks.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:- A
Samskitworkspace with admin access. - A HubSpot account with permission to install apps.
- At least one deal in HubSpot you want to connect to Samskit.
- A stable browser session with pop-ups allowed for the OAuth window.
Step 1: Open the integrations page
- Sign in to
Samskit. - Open your workspace.
- Go to
Settings. - Open
Integrations. - Find HubSpot in the CRM integrations section.
Step 2: Start the HubSpot connection
- Click
Connectnext to HubSpot - A HubSpot authorization window will open.
- Select the HubSpot account you want to connect.
- Review the requested permissions.
- Click
Connect app.
Step 3: Complete the HubSpot authorization flow
- Approve the requested HubSpot access scopes.
- Wait for HubSpot to redirect you back to Samskit.
- Return to the Samskit window if the popup closes automatically.
- Confirm that HubSpot now shows as
Connected.
Step 4: Accept HubSpot’s unverified app prompt if shown
HubSpot may show a warning before installation.- Read the message carefully.
- Enter
I accept the riskif HubSpot asks for confirmation. - Click
Connectto continue.
Step 5: Let Samskit load your CRM configuration
After the connection is complete, Samskit will automatically begin setup. This usually includes:- Saving the secure CRM connection.
- Importing HubSpot pipelines and stages.
- Loading available HubSpot deal fields.
- Preparing the workspace for deal mapping and writeback.
